CUS PALERMO

Settimana intensa per il Cus Palermo che ha ospitato il meeting del progetto europeo HERSA dove è partner insieme a Sport Evolutyion Alleance del Portogallo, dei Lead partner Youth and Sport Directorate of Aydin della Turchia.
Grazie al protocollo d’intesa sottoscritto con l’Istituto Colozza-Bonfiglio di Palermo è stata avviata una ricerca scientifica su 8 ragazzi con autismo basata sulla rilevazione di dati preintervento relativi all’equilibrio, al coordinamento ed alla mira. Con il supporto dei coach specializzati del Cus e degli insegnati, i ragazzi saranno avviati ad una nuova pratica sportiva denominata Hemsball, per verificare come questo nuovo sport (già federale in turchia) impatta sulle capacità legate all’equilibrio, al coordinamento ed alla mira.
Una giornata è stata dedicata all’inclusione sociale, negli spazi del complesso del Cus Palermo di Via Altofonte, oltre 20 ragazzi del Colozza-Bonfiglio hanno svolto delle attività coinvolgenti e innovative, coniugando l’esperienza di un’uscita straordinaria con la motivazione che il movimento riesce a dare. Nel pomeriggio gli alunni e le alunne, con i docenti e i genitori, hanno partecipato all’evento internazionale che ha raccontato, attraverso la presentazione del Project Manager Rosario Genchi, della delegazione turca e del Presidente del Cus Giovanni Randisi, i benefici che l’HEMSBALL apporta alle abilità cognitive e non dei ragazzi autistici. Ricco il panel degli interventi e dei contributi degli ospiti specializzati nella materia, hanno reso questo incontro significativo e di elevato interesse per tutti coloro che credono nell’inclusione sociale. Al termine tutti i ragazzi hanno ricevuto un kit premio con maglietta e sacca sportiva, e la consegna ufficiale della medaglia distintiva che li caratterizza come partecipanti al progetto. La conclusione della giornata ha visto la partecipazione coinvolgente ed emozionante dell’Assessore al sostegno alle disabilità Rosi Pennino, che ha ribadito l’importanza delle attività inclusive rivolte ai ragazzi ed alle ragazze con autismo, perché è sul campo della vita reale che si gettano le basi della solidarietà.
Visti i buoni risultati ottenuti dal progetto, una delegazione Turco-Italiana è stata ricevuta dal Presidente della V Commissione On. Fabrizio Ferrara presso l’Assemblea Regionale a Palazzo dei Normanni, che ha ascoltato con interesse i dettagli del progetto europeo HERSA.

Intense week for CUS Palermo which hosted the meeting of the European project HERSA where it is partner together with Sport Evolutyion Alliance of Portugal, of the Lead partner Youth and Sport Directorate of Aydin of Turkey.
Thanks to the memorandum of understanding signed with the Colozza-Bonfiglio Institute in Palermo, a scientific research was started on 8 children with autism based on the collection of pre-intervention data relating to balance, coordination and aiming. With the support of the specialized coaches of the CUS and the teachers, the children will be introduced to a new sport called Hemsball, to verify how this new sport (formerly federal in Turkey) impacts on the skills related to balance, coordination and aiming.
A day was dedicated to social inclusion, in the spaces of the CUS Palermo complex in via Altofonte, over 20 young people from Colozza-Bonfiglio carried out engaging and innovative activities, combining the experience of an extraordinary outing with the motivation that the movement manages to give. In the afternoon, the students, with the teachers and parents, took part in the international event which told, through the presentation of the Project Manager Rosario Genchi, the Turkish delegation and the President of the CUS Randisi Giovanni, the benefits that the HEMSBALL contributes to the cognitive and non-cognitive abilities of autistic children. A rich panel of interventions and contributions from guests specialized in the subject made this meeting significant and of great interest to all those who believe in social inclusion. At the end, all the boys received a prize kit with a t-shirt and sports bag, and the official delivery of the distinctive medal that characterizes them as participants in the project. The conclusion of the day saw the engaging and exciting participation of the councilor for support for disabilities, Rosi Pennino, who reaffirmed the importance of inclusive activities aimed at boys and girls with autism, because it is in the field of real life that the basis of solidarity.
Given the good results obtained by the project, a Turkish-Italian delegation was received by the President of the V Commission, Deputy Fabrizio Ferrara at the Regional Assembly at Palazzo dei Normanni, who listened with interest to the details of the European HERSA project.
