PROGETTI UE: DIGITAL SCHOOL SPORT DAY “EUROPACE”
Grande successo per l’evento sportivo del progetto Erasmus + Sport “EUROPACE”, svoltosi il 25 Settembre 2025 a Palermo presso le sedi del CUS Palermo.
Hanno preso parte alla giornata le quattro scuole superiori coinvolte nel progetto, il Liceo Scientifico Statale “Benedetto croce”,
L’IISS “Ugo Mursia” di Carini, il Liceo Scientifico Statale “Nicolò Palmeri” di Termini Imerese e l’Istituto Superiore “Majorana”, insieme allo staff del CUS Palermo e con prezioso supporto di alcuni studenti del Corso di Laurea in Scienze Motorie e Sportive.
Una sinergia vincente tra scuola, università e realtà sportive ha reso possibile una giornata dinamica e partecipata, dove lo sport è stato protagonista assoluto.
Gli studenti che mesi precedenti avevano preso parte alle sessioni di allenamento, hanno partecipato a questa competizione sportiva sulle quattro discipline sportive previste, il Dragon Boat, gli scacchi, il tiro a canestro e la staffetta mista 4×100.
Al termine dell’evento sono state svolte presso la sede centrale del CUS Palermo le cerimonie di premiazione conferendo circa 63 medaglie sul podio.
La dimensione transnazionale del progetto “EUROPACE” è stata avvalorata dal collegamento tramite la piattaforma ZOOM, per tutto l’arco della giornata con gli altri partners del progetto, che stavano svolgendo in contemporanea in Romania, Belgio e Francia la medesima competizione sportiva.

The Erasmus+ Sport project “EUROPACE,” held on September 25, 2025, in Palermo at the headquarters of CUS Palermo, was a great success.
The four high schools involved in the project participated in the day: the Liceo Scientifico Statale “Benedetto Croce,”
the IISS “Ugo Mursia” in Carini, the Liceo Scientifico Statale “Nicolò Palmeri” in Termini Imerese, and the Istituto Superiore “Majorana,” together with the staff of CUS Palermo and the valuable support of some students from the Degree Course in Motor and Sports Sciences.
A winning synergy between schools, universities, and sports organizations made possible a dynamic and participatory day, where sport was the absolute protagonist.
The students who had participated in the training sessions in the previous months took part in this sports competition in four disciplines: dragon boat, chess, basketball shooting, and mixed 4×100 relay.
At the end of the event, the award ceremonies were held at the CUS Palermo headquarters, with approximately 63 medals awarded on the podium.
The transnational dimension of the EUROPACE project was reinforced by the connection via the ZOOM platform throughout the day with the other project partners, who were simultaneously holding the same sports competition in Romania, Belgium, and France.
